Ever dreamed of being ">Justin Bieber's art director? Well, the singer is giving his fans that opportunity. Bieber has released two photos and requested that fans choose which will be the official art for his next single, "Boyfriend." The photo that receives the most fan tweets wins.
Biebs dons a gray checkered top over a gray T-shirt in both photos, but it's the pose that really differentiates the two shots. In one, he stands looking away from the camera, his hands at his side. In the other, he's looking to the camera, his hand running through his famous hair.
The Mike Posner-produced track will drop on March 26. It's the first single off his forthcoming album, Believe, out later this year. Bieber hit the studio with a number of A-listers for the album, including Maroon 5's Adam Levine and super-producers Diplo and Ryan Tedder, plus will.i.am, Drake and Lil Wayne.
"You can't really expect anything from my album. It's really, really different," Bieber told MTV News. "And it's new; it's not the same thing everyone's used to hearing right now on the radio. It's really exciting for me, 'cause I'm able to break out of my shell and show my fans what I'm all about and show other people who might not like my music that maybe they can like my music.
"I'm not trying to lose any of my young fans," he continued. "I'm not trying to lose any of my fans, I'm just trying to gain fans, and I think that's the best way to do it. Rather than try to grow up and lose your fans, you can get better and evolve and gain respect from more people."
Which Bieber photo do you think he should use as the cover art for "Boyfriend"? Tell us in the comments!

Utilizing Information To Grow A Home Business Tips On How To Start A Home Based Business Find Success In Home Business Without Losing Your Mind
Article by Alex Jones
Your home business is critical to you because you and possibly your family depend on its success. There have been many people who have succeeded and many who have failed at doing exactly what you are doing now. This article will provide some tips to help you become a success.
Pay attention early on to your home office organization. In fact, map it out prior to purchasing anything for your office. If you don?t, you can easily find yourself overwhelmed with various folders, shelving units and inbox solutions that will simply slow down your work. Take the time up from to maximize your efficiency.
A great tip for your home business is to be sure to do all the research you can to minimize the cost of materials for your products. This is important because often times you can save a lot of money by finding a good wholesale seller to purchase your goods from.
When setting up shop as a home business, be sure to do a competitive price check prior to launching. If you haven?t done this, you could be pricing yourself out of business before your business has really even started! And you may find that what you thought was a winning business model may not work if the prices being offered by the competition are too low. Make sure you do your homework!
For your home business, give your customers the option of buying your product online. Online payments are very common and some customers may be less likely to buy your product if they see that online payments are not an option. You can offer the option of telephone payment, as well as, online payments.
When you start your own home business, you may be the only employee. Be sure that you understand the full responsibilities and that you are able to do them properly. If you are not able to do all aspects of the job, consider hiring someone to help you with these responsibilities.
Once you decide to start a home business you need to get online. It is essential that you choose the right host for your site. The first thing you need to do is figure out what your needs are. Do you want a simple HTML site or do you plan on including features such as a discussion board, a database and ecommerce? Your hosting company must support all of the features you need at a reasonable price.
Before you even begin the first steps of a home business, make sure you have a comfortable office with sufficient supplies. Although it may seem trivial, people find it hard to get down to work if they are not comfortable with their space, or they do not have the proper supplies.
To save money when running a home business be sure to hire a certified accountant. It may seem like an extra expense at first, but the expense from a small error can be far more expensive if you were to be audited. Tax laws change every year and having an accountant will relieve stress and allow you to focus on your business.
Set up a 1-800 number for your clients to call if you are selling shippable products. A tangible product can spread across the country so make sure it is easy for them to call you. If your business just provides local area services, then this isn?t necessary for you as your clients should all be local.
Find out what people are saying about your business, product, and website. You can ask others, search for yourself, or find reviews to get this information. What you find out may be positive or negative, but either way, it will offer you valuable insight on what direction you should take your business in.
Know your capabilities. While you want your business to be the most successful it can be, you do not want to attempt something that you will not be able to complete. If you are not able to do outdoor work, do not start a home based business requiring you to do heavy manual labor.
Install a separate phone line for your business calls. This way you can be sure your business calls are handled in a professional manner. Make sure others in your home don?t answer your business phone unless it is done in a professional manner. You should also set up a voicemail on your business line.
Keep a regular schedule when working from a home business. If you are not in your office to answer phones at a regular time it is going to be quite difficult for your customers to get in contact with you. You should treat this as you would a normal job and keep with a schedule strictly.
Get receipts for everything you spend money on, and learn to file them. Tossing these receipts into a file cabinet labeled by month is not going to be good enough for the IRS, so make sure you have a detailed filing system. Splitting things up by type, date, and month of transaction is usually a great method.
When running a home business be sure to schedule specific business hours. It can be extremely difficult when you start a home business to stay out of the office, but if you want to keep your sanity and maintain a positive relationship with others you want to be sure to make time for each, and set a standard that others can expect from you.
A home business only needs a simple website, so instead invest your money in beta testing. Make sure that your site loads in all browsers and on all types of computers, including mobile devices, and that your information shows up the same way in each. Ensuring the same user experience will mean that everyone can read all the information about your company that they need to be able to choose your services.
Have the owner of your home business write a blog on your company website. The content should NOT be personal, but he can include current events if they apply to what the company sells. For example, writing a blog about sending the blankets you create to another country to help people displaced by a recent earthquake will give your customers a good feeling about your company.
Check e-mail once or twice a day. Anyone who has a serious problem can call you, but don?t check e-mail all day. Checking e-mail constantly puts a drain on your home business because you are in stop-start mode and aren?t focusing on the important things at hand because you?re distracted by e-mail.
A great tip for your home business is to make sure that you spend plenty of time before even starting your business to make sure you are doing something in an appropriate niche for you. Start with you hobbies and favorite activities and determine if there are any ways that you can turn them into a business opportunity.
Set milestones and celebrate when they are reached. Even if you are going at your home business as the sole member, you want to celebrate your milestones as you would within a large business with others. You want to give yourself the credit that is due so you can motivate yourself towards greater achievements.
Set working hours. You might want to work through the night, but that will lead to burnout sooner or later. Give yourself specific times to work so you can be constant and know what to expect in your day. If work time is over at 6pm, don?t stay until 8pm. Respect yourself to obey your own boundaries.
It is extremely important to set up specific space and time to work. When you are interrupted, you must maintain those work at home boundaries. With small children, child care is required as if you were not home. As the owner, you don?t have any benefits. Sick days, vacations and paid holidays are a thing of the past.In summary, running your own home business is something that many other people have also attempted to do. You want to be as successful as possible and want to know all that you can, in order to help you with your goal. Follow the tips provided in this article and you will be on the road to a great experience.accountants toronto
UCLA to launch unique, comprehensive Alzheimer's and dementia care program Public release date: 14-Mar-2012 [ | E-mail | Share ]

Patti Davis, daughter of Ronald Reagan, to co-facilitate support groups
Alzheimer's disease affects an estimated 5.4 million people in the U.S., some 480,000 of them in California. Nearly half of all people 85 and older will be stricken with the disease. The overall burden of dementia is still higher, with Alzheimer's accounting for only 60 to 80 percent of dementia cases.
Yet as devastating as these disorders are to the afflicted, they also have a tremendous impact on family members, friends and caregivers. And while many health systems provide excellent care, and community-based organizations offer supportive services, no comprehensive programs exist to meet patients' health needs and the needs of those around them.
Family members are often at a loss to find appropriate care and services for their loved ones, and they typically have few, if any, resources to help them navigate their way through the complex health care system.
"UCLA already has top-notch geriatrics, neurology, psychiatry and primary care clinical services," said Dr. David Reuben, chief of UCLA's geriatrics division. "But we do not have a comprehensive, coordinated dementia care program. As a result, the many needs of UCLA patients with dementia and their families are commonly unmet."
To address those needs, UCLA is launching its new UCLA Alzheimer's and Dementia Care program, which will provide comprehensive, coordinated care, as well as resources and support, to patients and their caregivers.
Patti Davis, the daughter of former President Reagan and Nancy Reagan and a longtime advocate in the fight against Alzheimer's, will be an integral member of the program.
Very little was known about Alzheimer's when President Reagan was diagnosed in 1994. Sufferers and their families were left in the dark about what to expect and how to cope with the ravages of the disease, said former first lady Nancy Reagan.
"People didn't really talk about their loved ones with Alzheimer's, as if it were something that had to be kept secret," Reagan said. "There was no place to go to learn more, no one to talk to and share our feelings with. It was a very lonely and frightening time for us. It's still a lonely time for a lot of people, which is why I'm so glad this new program exists.
"I'm pleased and very proud that Patti is a part of it, and I am confident it will help a lot of people."
The program, which could serve as a model for other health centers around the country, is being funded by Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center; the division of geriatric medicine in the UCLA Department of Medicine; the division of geriatric psychiatry in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences; the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA; and a generous donor.
Davis, along with Linda Ercoli, director of geriatric psychology in the UCLA Division of Geriatric Psychiatry, will lead support groups for families affected by the disease.
"It's a role I'm familiar with because my family went through a decade of my father's illness under the glare of the public spotlight," Davis said. "The program of support groups will do a lot to ease the loneliness and fear that come with being in a family with Alzheimer's."
The UCLA Alzheimer's and Dementia Care program will have three main components: the creation of a dementia registry; a needs-assessment of patients listed in the registry; and individualized dementia-care plans based on those assessments.
Care plans could include the following:
Consultations with neurology, psychiatry and geriatrics staff.
Monitoring for disease progression and complications for all patients.
Support groups through Patti Davis' Beyond Alzheimer's program.
Advanced-care planning, with consultations from the UCLA Ethics Center.
Intensive dementia-care management by a nurse practitioner.
Hospitalization, when needed, at the Santa MonicaUCLA geriatrics special care unit for medical problems, or at the Stewart and Linda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA's geriatric psychiatry unit for psychiatric or behavioral problems.
Referrals to UCLA's Mary S. Easton Center for Alzheimer's Disease Research for appropriate clinical trials.
Referrals, as appropriate, to the Los Angeles chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or other community-based organizations for services.
In-home visits, if needed, with modifications of the patient's physical home environment.
The lead donors and supporters of the program launch are Los Angeles residents and longtime UCLA supporters Carol and James A. Collins, who made a major seven figure gift to establish and support the program for five years. The generous gift from the Collins covers approximately half of the current projected budget over the first five years. They are also launching a matching gift challenge to other individual donors who are passionate about this cause.
"Carol and I are pleased to support the UCLA Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care program," James Collins said. "Our family has personal experience with a mother and brother affected with Alzheimer's for many years. This program will have wonderful benefits for families dealing with this disease."

ScienceDaily (Mar. 14, 2012) ? New research has linked springtime die-offs of honeybees critical for pollinating food crops -- part of the mysterious malady called colony collapse disorder -- with technology for planting corn coated with insecticides.
The study, published in ACS' journal Environmental Science & Technology, appears on the eve of spring planting seasons in some parts of Europe where farmers use the technology and widespread deaths of honeybees have occurred in the past.
In the study, Andrea Tapparo and colleagues explain that seeds coated with so-called neonicotinoid insecticides went into wide use in Europe in the late 1990s. The insecticides are among the most widely used in the world, popular because they kill insects by paralyzing nerves but have lower toxicity for other animals. Almost immediately, beekeepers observed large die-offs of bees that seemed to coincide with mid-March to May corn planting. Scientists thought this might be due to particles of insecticide made airborne by the pneumatic drilling machines used for planting. These machines forcefully suck seeds in and expel a burst of air containing high concentrations of particles of the insecticide coating. In an effort to make the pneumatic drilling method safer, the scientists tested different types of insecticide coatings and seeding methods.
They found, however, that all of the variations in seed coatings and planting methods killed honeybees that flew through the emission cloud of the seeding machine. One machine modified with a deflector to send the insecticide-laced air downwards still caused the death of more than 200 bees foraging in the field. The authors suggest that future work on this problem should focus on a way to prevent the seeds from fragmenting inside the pneumatic drilling machines.
The authors acknowledge funding from the University of Padova and the Ministero delle Politiche Agricole Alimentari e Forestali, Italy.

There is a concrete sealer which is a penetrating tint. This was developed to mimic acid staining. Staining or acid stains involves the use of acids like hydrochloric acids and acid-soluble metallic salt mixed with water. Acids react with the calcium hydroxide (hydrated lime) in concrete, etching the surface which allows the metallic salts to penetrate the surface. This reaction will result to a permanent stain that is fade proof, and wont peel away. Acid-based stains will vary in its intensity and mostly comes in brown tones like tans, terra cottas and blue-greens. Adding concrete dyes will increase color variations on the decorative concrete like yellows, oranges and even purple.
Concrete can achieve the look of brick or stone with stamping. Patterns are imprinted in fresh concrete for it to resemble slate, stone or flagstone. Applications for this technique are best used in areas like driveways, patios or pool decks. Stamped concrete can be used with other decorative concrete techniques like coloured films to create a look that can equal more expensive decorative materials.
Concrete overlays are decorative concrete materials that are the solution to worn concrete floors needing a facelift. Concrete overlays are considered less expensive than replacing or removing existing floors. But that doesn't necessarily mean that overlays can be placed on cracked unlevelled floors. Decorative concrete overlays varies in thickness and materials used and homeowners need to consider where these materials are to be installed since some are best suited for indoor use while others are for exterior applications only.
In order to protect the surface of a decorative concrete floor, it is important to use a concrete sealer especially for areas like patios and driveways which are exposed to the elements. Decorative concrete that serve as kitchen countertops need to be resealed when the surface is no longer waterproof or when water begins to seep through the concrete surface.
There are different types of sealants used in decorative concrete. One type leaves a protective coating on the concrete surface to protect it from moisture. These can be wax, acrylics or epoxy types of sealants. Another type penetrates the surface forming a barrier as protection from other materials that will otherwise penetrate the porous surface of concrete. These type of sealers are referred to as densifiers and repellants like sodium silicates and silanes respectively. A sealant can be water based or oil-based.
Application of different types of decorative concrete sealer will vary as well. One rule of thumb before applying any type of sealer is, the concrete should be clean. The surface should be clean from chemicals, dust or other contaminants before applying a sealer. In the event an owner is resealing his decorative concrete he needs to know what type of sealer was used. The same type of concrete sealer should be used when resealing otherwise it would not adhere to the surface.
